The Aircrafts Engine Prangli saare reisijuht

The engine belongs to a German aircraft, that was shot down in 1944, during the WWII. The pilot managed to eject and he survived. The type of engine used in aircraft was BMW. You can find a little sign about that. Kind local ladies took care of the pilot by feeding and healing him. In gratitude he gave them his parachute. Ladies washed the cloth until it started looking lighter and later they used it as material for dresses. The pilot himself left the island, but whether he made babies to some of the local women, is not known.
