Hiking trail "Green rails" Viljandi-Mõisaküla EV100 - nutimäng

The Viljandi - Mõisaküla narrow-gauge railway was opened to traffic in 1897, and the last trains, called locals Mulgi Ekspress, ran here in 1973. Today, most of the old railway embankment has been used as a hiking trail through Mulgimaa's forests, fields and small towns, mostly quiet . Between Õisu and Abja-Paluoja, sometimes on larger asphalt roads, because the former railway dam is currently impassable there. NThe whole 46-kilometer-long trail or individual sections of it can be crossed on foot or by bicycle.
