Hiiessaare eye stone EV100 - nutimäng
Near Paluküla, between the coastal junipers, is the Hiiesaare giant boulder or Silmakivi. The giant boulder is named after a small bay, the foothills of which are called "eyes". The eye stone is 13 meters long, 10.5 meters wide and 4.5 meters high, and has a circumference of 33 meters. When Hiiumaa was divided between the bishop of Saare-Lääne and the order in 1254, Silmakivi was one of the border points.
