Maps for big events
Sten Weidebaum, Estonian Song and Dance Celebration, 100 000 people. Navi-cup app was able to reflect the 4,200 kilo-meter long journey of the Festival Fire that lasted 33 days, which preceded the Esto-nian jubilee Song and Dance Festival. All 300 events and the movement of the torch in real time were made visible to spectators on digital maps on the web and in the app.
Meelis Pilv, Saare Safari OÜ, 50+ car orienteering competition The Navicup application greatly simplifies the orienteering competitions we organize. Organizers, competitors and spectators see the movements and results of the participants in real time. This really takes both the organizing and monitoring of the event to a new level.
Tourist maps and hiking trails
Margit Pärtel, From the capital to the border town - 250km tourist route. It took several hours a day to keep our multilingual map information of 1,200 objects up to date. Thanks to Navicup self-service and automatic translation, the owners of the object can now handle it themselves. We now have time for the more important things.
Maps of big events
Mairold Vaik, The Night of Ancient Bonfires, 8 countries. The organizers of the Night of Ancient Bonfires marked hundreds of campfires and evening programs on the event map. They were able to do it them-selves in web and in app, and it significantly reduced the workload for organizers. I have been waiting for a map application similar to Navicup for more than 5 years!
Audio tour guide
Arne Merilai, Institute of Cultural Re-search, University of Tartu. The use of Navi-cup's audio guide application in Maris Mägi master's project "Literary Journey on the Is-land of Vilsandi" was a great success. Other municipalities now want to pass on the cul-tural and historical heritage of their region with this innovative solution. For this pur-pose, we even created a branch company.
Kristina Mägi, Visit Saaremaa, "Siil udus" tourism game. Our island adventure game is a great entertainment for both locals and tourists, which is exciting regardless of the season or time of day. All you need is nice company and a fun day is guaranteed. We discover exciting places that even the locals did not know existed.
